When writing your cover letter, keep the role you’re applying for in mind. Specifically, have the position description and/or selection criteria at hand to provide the reader with enough relevant information to convince them that YOU are the right person for this job!
Include a Resume or CV detailing the history of your employment and work experience.
Your employment history in chronological order, starting with your current employment.
Details of the positions you have held, including dates of employment, the capacity in which you were employed, where you were employed, and a brief outline of the main duties, responsibilities, and major achievements.
Your educational qualifications and professional affiliations, which include the full title of the qualification, the year awarded, and the full title of the institution attended.
When you apply, you’ll need to provide a minimum of two referees. A referee must be able to comment on your work experience and skills, specifically relating to the role requirements.
